KARACHI, Oct 14: All schools and colleges in Karachi region — both government and private sector — will remain open on Monday.

This was announced by the Executive District Officer, Education, Professor Mazharul Haq, on Sunday.

He said that academic business will also be conducted as usual.

Meanwhile, the director of private schools, Ms Badar Shujaat, announced that action would be initiated under Privately-managed Schools Ordinance 1962, against the management of schools who will not open their schools on Monday.—APP
