Selection process

Published November 12, 2019

AS a member of the Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC), I would like to draw the attention of the chief justice of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, National Accountability Bureau chairman and the Sindh chief minister and authorities concerned towards the injustice and victimisation in the recruitment and selection processes of Combine Competitive Examinations (CCE-2018).

Recently, various SPSC employees have qualified the CCE-2018 examinations conducted by Sindh Public Service Commission but like every time they have been declared unqualified in viva voce interviews. This gives the impression that there is a hidden policy of not entertaining SPSC employees for other jobs by deliberately awarding them lower marks.

This controversial result is also against the spirit of the judgment of the SC under suo motu case no. 18/2016.

Therefore, we request the CJP, the NAB Chairman and the Sindh chief minister to take serious notice of this discrimination done to SPSC employees.
