PESHAWAR, Jan 15: Pakistan Telecommunication Northern Region-1 is converting EMD exchange Timergara into digital network to provide modern and better services to subscribers including Internet CLI facility.

All the EMD telephone numbers will be converted into digital numbers during the midnight of Jan 17 & 18. According to a press release issued here on Tuesday, PTCL spokesman said that telephone numbers which fall in the range of 2000 to 2999, their prefix will be changed from 2 to 825.

However, the last three digits will remain the same, for example the telephone number 2000 will be changed into 825000 and 2999 will be changed into 825999.

Telephone numbers having prefix 3 will be converted into 826.

However, the last three digits will remain the same, for example telephone number 3000 will be converted into 826000 and telephone number 3699 will be converted into 826699.
