QUETTA: Quetta District grabbed 10 gold medals, four silver and six bronze to win the 15th All Balochistan JKA Karate Championship here on Sunday. Japan Karate Association Balochistan in collaboration with Mishal Youth Society organized the championship on Nov 2-3 here.

Mir Ziaullah Langove, Home Minister of Balochistan, was the chief guest in the final matches and distributed the prizes among the winners.

Pishin District with three gold medals, five silver and five bronze got the runner-up trophy while Zhob District bagged 3rd position in the championship with two gold medals, three silver and four bronze medals.

Girls and boys displayed excellent performance in championship and impressed everyone with their skills.

Durra Baloch Director General Baloichistan Sports Department, Muhammad Kashif, Grand Master Shoukat Ali Changezi, Saleem Shakir, President Mashal Youth Society, Mehmood Hussain Changezi, ex-Secretary General Balochistan Karate Association and other dignitaries were also present at the occasion.
