MITHI: Former Pakistan Peoples Party MPA from Nagarparkar Ghulam Mohammad Lot died of cardiac arrest in Karachi on Friday. He was 90.

The late lawmaker hailed from Diplo town of Tharparkar and was the first candidate for a provincial assembly seat who in 1988 general elections beat

Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim — hailing from the Arbab family that had been unbeatable for decades.

The late lawmaker was the father of former Senator Gul Mohammad Lot, a known business tycoon.

The funeral prayers of Ghulam Mohammad Lot will be offered in Diplai Memon Colony, Hyderabad, on Saturday afternoon.
