KARACHI: The West Pakistan Governor, Air Marshal Nur Khan, has prescribed the guidelines for a clean, just, efficient and popular administration in the province. This follows the extensive tour of the Governor last month of various parts of West Pakistan during which he had met all the top officials, especially the Commissioners and the Deputy Commissioners.

Air Marshal Nur Khan, who had earlier given to the nation the revolutionary proposals on labour and education, has now stressed that in the matter of the administration the responsibility of attaining the declared objectives rested largely on the Divisional heads and their deputies.

He has, therefore, desired that the Commissioners and the Deputy Commissioners should meet as frequently as possible all sections of the public opinion — peasants, workers, journalists, students, lawyers, teachers, traders and industrialists — to see and know things for themselves in order to be able to be better equipped to resolve the problems of the people.

At the same time, he has felt that they should visit more and more hospitals, schools, factories, jails etc and has hoped that by doing so they would be rewarded, among other things, with added prestige and respect in the eyes of the public.
