LAKKI MARWAT: A man was killed over a minor dispute in Graban locality of Lakki city on Sunday night, police said on Monday. They said Haji Hamidullah (60) was standing outside his house when his rival attacked him.

They said the attacker escaped while Hamidullah sustained serious injuries and died on way to hospital. Ihsanullah, son of the deceased, nominated Karim Khan in the FIR for the offence. He told police that his father was shot dead over reprimanding a relative of the killer.

Meanwhile, police recovered a seven-year-old boy from his captors and arrested one of the kidnappers on Monday. Obaid had been kidnapped by two motorcyclists from Kotka Abdullah Khan Kundi locality.

Naurang circle DSP Iqbal Mohmand told mediapersons that the police raided a suspected hideout in Azadkhel Betanni locality and recovered the boy. “A kidnapper, Gul Dad, was also arrested and efforts are underway to capture his other accomplice,” he maintained.
