Dawn sports reporter Ian Fyfe dies

KARACHI, Aug 5: Ian Fyfe, senior sports reporter of Daily Dawn, died in a hospital on Friday night. He was 58. Mr Fyfe was on his way home on his scooter on June 30 when a car hit him on Sharea Faisal. He was injured and admitted to the Liaquat National Hospital.

Doctors said Mr Fyfe died of heart failure and complications from injuries.

He leaves a brother and two sisters to mourn his death.

Mr Fyfe worked for Dawn for many years. He had also served in Morning News.

The funeral service will be held at Christ The King Church in Muslimabad near Kashmir Road at 4pm on Sunday.
