ISLAMABAD: One person was killed and another injured in a shooting at a restaurant in Bahria Town Phase IV on Sunday.

According to the Lohi Bher police, two suspects were involved in the shooting that left one young man, identified as Abdullah, dead and another identified as Haseeb injured.

“Both youngsters had a heated argument with the suspects a few days ago. In the early hours of Sunday, the suspects opened fire, injuring both the youngsters. They were shifted to a hospital but one of them did not survive. The suspects managed to flee from the incident,” a police official who was not authorised to speak on the record said.

He said an FIR has been registered and the investigation is ongoing. Efforts are also being made to arrest the suspects.
