SWABI: A land dispute claimed one life in Saleem Khan village on Friday.

Police said Nawab Khan and his brother, Rajwali Khan, exchanged fire, which resulted into the killing of Tawab Khan, son of Rajwali, who was also injured. The injured was first taken to Bacha Khan Hospital Complex, Shahmansoor, and later referred to Lady Reading Hospital, Peshawar, in critical condition.

The police registered FIR against Nawab Khan.

Meanwhile, a mother of four children committed suicide allegedly after clashing with her drug-addict husband on Friday, police said. The incident occurred in Sadri village of Kalu Khan.

It was learnt that Faqir Hussain, a heroin-addict, usually did not bring essential commodities to home and always clashed with his wife, forcing the woman to take her life by hanging herself with a rope.In Yar Hussain village, a woman dispute claimed life of a person. Registering FIR in Yar Hussain police station, a brother of the deceased, Noor Mohammad, said that the latter was on way to fields when Inam Khan, one of their relatives, shot him dead. The police arrested the alleged killer.
