SUKKUR, Oct 4: Tension is mounting in Tangwani near Kandhkot after an armed clash between two groups of Rind tribe in which two persons were killed and two others injured.

Both the groups have taken position against each other and intermittent firing could be heard with short intervals.

Heavy police force cordoned the affected area and are trying to patch up the two groups.

Exchange of firing took place between the two groups of Rind tribe over the possession of a fish farm, in which two real brothers Mian Bux and Sain Bux were killed and two others whose names could not be immediately ascertained, were injured.

According to sources one group led by Rehman Rind and the other led by Mohammad Shafi alias Banho Rind had a dispute over a fish farm which converted into an armed clash.

Shafi group opened indiscriminate fire on Thursday night killing Sain Bux and kidnapping Mian Bux who was also later shot dead and his body was thrown outside the village.

This enraged their rivals who attacked village Mohammad Shafi Rind and injured two persons.

Police registered a case against 20 persons but no one was arrested and a check post was established in the area to bring the situation under control.
