KESC gains 27 runs lead against PTCL

KARACHI, Jan 14: Karachi Electric Supply Corporation (KESC) gained 27-run first innings lead over Pakistan Telecommunication Corporation (PTCL) on the second-day of their three-day Patrons Trophy grade-II match at Asghar Ali Shah Stadium.

PTCL were bowled out for 237 in 78 overs in reply to KESC’s 264.

At close KESC were 30 without loss. Mushtaq Afridi (16) and Shahid Dawoood (11) were the crease.

Opener Aqeel Mukhtar slammed 59 in PTCL innings with two 4s. Ashar Zaidi’s 45ns in 30 overs. Left arm slow bowler Jaffer Qureshi, who opened the bowling chipped in with three for 81 in 28 overs.
