KARACHI: Softball Federation of Pakistan’s newly elected office-bearers are seen with POA observers and chief election commissioner Wasim Hashmi.

KARACHI: President Softball Federation of Pakistan (SFP) Haider Khan Lehri and Secretary Asif Azeem have been re-elected for their respective previous positions unanimously for the next four-year term.

The elections were held during the general body meeting of at Karachi Gymkhana under the supervision of election commissioner Syed Wasim Hashmi. Pakistan Olympics Association (POA) Asghar Baloch and Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) Mohammad Azam Dar also attended the elections as observers.

Meanwhile, Malik Nisar Ahmed has been elected as Senior Vice President while Tehmina Asif retained Chairperson’s post.

Dr. Farhan Essa, Mohammad Riaz, Samavia Saman, Humaira Mughal and Salma Faiz have been elected as vice presidents. Mohammad Zeeshan Merchant has been elected as joint-secretary while Murad Hussain has been elected as finance secretary. Naseem Khan has been elected as associate secretary while Zaheer Hussain as chairman umpiring and Malik Farhan Rashid as chairman coaching. Asmatullah Khan has been elected as chairman technical committee.

Meanwhile, Ghulam Mutaza, Haji Ilahi Baksh, Mohammad Ramzan and Aiman Khan have been elected as members of executive committee.

During the meeting, next year’s calendar were also approved which included both foreign and domestic activities.
