Yasir and Sehar capture titles

KARACHII, July 30: Yasir Khan and Sehar Khawaja were crowned men‘s and ladies’ singles champions of the of 15th Talent Hunt tennis on Friday at City Sports Complex. The tournament was organised by Sindh Tennis Association in collaboration with CDGK.

Yasir showed all the qualities of making a very good player in overcoming a fighting Asfand Rouf 6-3, 6-7, 6-3 in an encounter that lasted two and a half hours.

But there was no trouble for Sehar who outplayed her rival Alay Zehra in straight sets 6-2, 6-3.

Nasir Mushtaq became the only player to emerge with double crown when he outfought Ghulam Abbas 6-4, 6-7, 6-1 to become junior under-17 boys’ winner.

Nasir had earlier clinched under-15 crown by outclassing Zohair Raza in the final.
