GUJRANWALA, July 30: The PML-N set up a camp outside district courts here on Saturday to protest against price hike and lawlessness, demanding that the government should immediately quit. Speaking on the occasion, PML-N city president ex-MPA Abdul Rauf Mughal and other leaders criticized the government over its wrong policies.

They said people were being slaughtered in their houses by dacoits while the police had allegedly failed to arrest them. The protesters said the government should accept its failure and quit immediately.

BAITUL MAAL: The Baitul Maal will distribute Rs20 million to 15,000 deserving people while the district government has started the process of their registration.

This was stated by District Coordination Officer Khalid Masood Chaudhry while speaking at a meeting held here on Saturday. The EDO (revenue) and other senior officers were also present.
