PESHAWAR: The Peshawar Electric Supply Company has announced power suspension from five to seven hours on different days due to maintenance work on the transmission lines in various localities.

According to a statement issued here on Wednesday, consumers of 11KV Industrial, Naguman, Haryana 1, Daudzai 1, 2, Old Naguman, New Khazana, KSM, 11KV New Naguman, Khazana, Takhtabad feeders will face inconvenience on Aug 24, 27, 29 and 31 from 8am to 2pm.

Similarly, the consumers of 11KV Sarbulandpura, Nishat, Charsadda Road, Dalazak, Faqirabad, Latifabad, Eidgah feeder will also suffer on Aug 26 and 31 from 8am to 1pm.

Consumers of 11KV Suragghar, Shadi, KTS 1, 2 feeder will face inconvenience on Aug 26, 27, 28 and 29 from 9am to 4pm.

The consumers of 11KV City 1, Ghazikot, Industrial Estate, Pehna, Baffa feeder will also face inconvenience on Aug 25 from 9am to 3pm.

Meanwhile, the power company has taken notice of the complaints about low voltage/power breakdowns in different districts, and directed the officials concerned to prepare a plan for further improvement of the distribution system throughout the province.

These views were expressed by Pesco chief executive officer Dr Mohammad Amjad while presiding over a meeting at Wapda House on Wednesday.

National Transmission and Dispatch Company officials also participated in the meeting, which discussed various aspects to overcome problems of low voltage and power breakdowns.

The Pesco chief asked NTDC and Pesco officials to prepare proposals for the redressal of low voltage complaints.
