Dr Yasinzai said the university would be among the leading organisations to plant saplings and make the environment green.

He said the university was making efforts to arrange saplings through philanthropists so that every student could plant a sapling on the campus.

He said the university was in the process of planting 30,000 saplings.

The university has already planted 250 fruit plants through its Department of Environmental Sciences as an endowment.
