MINGORA: Hundreds of people on Sunday demonstrated against the killing of a resident of Utror valley of upper Swat in Gujrat district of the Punjab province on Aug 15.

Maskin Zada, 21, was killed by unknown people in Gujrat and the killers also captured his video while tying him with a rope and striking him with axes and knives.

Sher Zada, the father of Maskin, said when his son demanded money from members of Christian community for the mobile phone he had sold to them they killed him ruthlessly. He demanded of the government to provide him justice.

Hundreds of people came out of their houses when the body of the young man arrived in Utror valley on Sunday afternoon. They demanded of Prime Minister Imran Khan, Chief Minister Mahmood Khan and the Punjab chief minister to order immediate arrest of the culprits and punishment to them, otherwise they would march towards Punjab.

“We will continue our protest till the killers are arrested,” warned a protester.
