TOBA TEK SINGH: A three-year-old child was electrocuted and his sister suffered burns in Kamalia on Tuesday.

Rescue 1122 reported that Abdul Razzaq’s children Hafeezullah, 3, and Nyla Perveen, 13, were playing on the roof of their house at Zeeshan Colony when they came in contact with dangling electricity wires.

They suffered burns and were shifted to the Tehsil Headquarters hospital where Hafeezullah succumbed to his burns. The condition of Nyla was stated to be critical.

FOUND DEAD: One of the two missing students of a Gojra’s seminary was found dead on Tuesday in an accident near Rawat (Rawalpindi). The other student was injured.

The father of injured Ahmad Raza, 14, had a case registered against Muhammad Naveed, 18, and his family for kidnapping his child.

The two students got a motorcycle on rent from Gojra on Aug 5 and disappeared from the seminary without informing their parents and the seminary staff.

Two days ago the parents and relatives of Ahmad Raza had blocked a road by staging a protest demonstration near the Gojra level crossing over failure of police to recover the child.

They came to know that both had gone to Rawalpindi by motorcycle and Muhammad Naveed died when a car hit them near Rawat while Ahmad Raza suffered wounds. He was admitted to a hospital in Rawalpindi.

Gojra city investigation officer Muhammad Amer said the case would be registered by the Rawat police station.
