PESHAWAR: The Peshawar Electric Supply Company has assured uninterrupted power supply on the occasion of Eidul Azha, and has also set up a crisis management cell in order to deal with any emergency situation during the Eid holidays.

According to a statement issued here on Saturday, the power company has advised the consumers to keep close liaison with the officials at the cell to resolve any problem. It was stated that the Pesco chief executive officer Dr Mohammad Amjad would personally supervise the performance of the crisis management cell.

The statement said that all necessary arrangements had been made to keep smooth power supply during the Eid holidays as necessary equipment had been provided to all Pesco subdivisions and complaint centres.

Besides, the Pesco chief also issued special instructions to the field formations to ensure continued power supply during the Eid, saying that circle, divisional and sub-divisional complaint cells of the power company would also remain operational round-the-clock.

The Pesco chief asked the consumers that in case of delayed response they could contact the crisis management cell via telephone numbers 091-9212010, 091-9212028, or lodge their complaints on 118 or through SMS to 8118.
