LAHORE: The National Accountability Bureau, Lahore, has said it will allow close relatives of all under custody suspects to meet them on Eidul Azha.

According to officials, there will be no bar on the relatives of the under custody suspects who include PML-N vice president Maryam Nawaz and her cousins Hamza Shahbaz and Yousuf Abbas, to meet them on Eid days. Besides, the bureau is also considering allowing the suspects to spend the Eid day out of their prison cells.

They said the NAB had also made arrangements for the under custody suspects to offer Eid prayers in a mosque on its premises and it would prepare special meal for them.

NAB has kept Maryam Nawaz in the Day Care Centre in the bureau’s Thokhar Niaz Beg building. She has been in NAB’s custody on physical remand till Aug 21 in the Chaudhry Sugar Mills case.
