ISLAMABAD, July 27: Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz on Wednesday ordered a fresh inquiry into a dispute concerning the Breton Carey Girls Hostel in Karachi which was attacked by unknown people a few months ago.

A delegation comprising members of a minority community during a meeting with Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz here at the Prime Minister’s House informed him about the incident in which some miscreants attacked the hostel being used by orphan girls and created disturbance.

Ghazala Shafeeq, expressing her gratitude to the prime minister for ordering a fresh inquiry, hoped it would help resolve the issue as she had been harassed by some influential persons.

She told the prime minister that a number of law-enforcement personnel had investigated the matter but so far no one had been arrested.—APP
