I AM a resident of DHA Phase 5, living near Khayaban-i-Badban. This thoroughfare has been in a dilapidated and pathetic state for the last many months which has made the lives of motorists increasingly difficult
I lodged an online complaint on March 28, on the citizen’s portal, launched by Prime Minister Imran Khan. The complaint code given to me was SD280319-2039609. For the last four months, the complaint is just rotating and revolving among different provincial civic agencies, as is evident from the complaint history, and I believe it has still not reached the relevant Defence Housing Authority, Karachi officials.
In my opinion there should be a follow-up mechanism on the part of personnel who are managing this portal, and an alarm should be raised with relevant officials whenever a complaint takes inordinate time and still fails to get resolved.
I request DHA Karachi to take immediate notice of the precarious condition of main Khayaban-i-Badban Road and have it repaired.
