ISLAMABAD: The first All-Pakistan Inter-divisional U-20 Kabaddi Championship commences here at the Pakistan Sports Complex on Friday.

“In this Asian-style event, U-20 players with less than 75kg weight will be eligible to participate,” Pakistan Kabaddi Federation secretary Rana Sarwar said on Wednesday.

He added that the event will help prepare a balanced national team for this year’s Junior World Kabaddi Championship to be held from Nov 1 to 7 in Iran.

Teams from Multan, Bahawalpur, Lahore, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Sahiwal, Sargodha, DG Khan, Bannu and Sukkur will feature in this event, Sarwar added.
