LAHORE, July 25: A captain’s knock by Habibur Rehman helped State Bank of Pakistan, Lahore enter final of the Bankers Club regional cricket tournament with a four-wicket win over Metro Bank at the Faisal Club ground on Monday. Set to score 139 in 25 overs, Habib struck 52 off 47 balls with three boundaries as SBP romped home scoring 139 for six with one over to spare. Earlier, Metro Bank’s skipper Tariq Bashir led from the front with a fine knock of 62 (76 balls, five fours) as his team scored 138 for eight in 25 overs.

SBP’s opponents in the July 31 final are Punjab Provincial Co-op Bank.
