KARACHI: Chief Minister’s Adviser on Information and Law Barrister Murtaza Wahab has said that Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf’s dream of forming its government in Sindh will never materialise, warning that horse-trading was against the Constitution.

Speaking to the media at the Sindh Assembly building on Tuesday, he said that if PTI resorted to horse-trading in its attempt to bring about an in-house change, then the Election Commission should take notice of this “lotacracy”.

He said that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) would never support PTI-led federal government’s “anti-people policies”.

“It is the darkest age for Pakistan where the prime minister is happy in his palace and does not bother [about] what problems our people are facing,” he said.

Mr Wahab said that the recent steep rise in gas and electricity tariffs was unjustified, and termed it a step-motherly treatment being meted out to people, particularly to Sindh. He noted that the prime minister had not given “a single penny” to Karachi despite his tall claims and promises.
