MARDAN: NGO office torched

MARDAN, Oct 14: Zakia Rehman, an organizer of Women and Children Organisation at Takht Bai, an NGO, has said that her house and office were not set ablaze by the Ulema and religious workers on Oct 8, but some miscreants of the area were involved in the episode.

Speaking at Mardan Press Club (MPC) she lamented that the miscreants reached her house the same day at Ganjai (Takht Bai) and torched both her house and the NGO office, causing a damage of about Rs3.3 million.
