LAHORE: Two teenage bikers died in an accident allegedly caused by speeding on Defence Road in Kahna area on Sunday.

Police said the teenagers, yet to be identified, were speeding when their motorcycle rammed into a pole while avoiding a pedestrian. As a result both suffered critical injuries and fell unconscious.

Rescue 1122 teams, called on the spot, shifted them to hospital where they succumbed to their injuries.

The police shifted the bodies to morgue for identification.

KITE STRING: A minor boy was critically injured by string of a stray kite in Factory Area on Sunday.

Police said Yasir; a resident of Walton Road, was on bike with his four-year-old son Haider and wife when a stray kite string got entangled around the minor’s neck.

As a result, the minor suffered critical wounds and was shifted to hospital where he was said to be critical.

FOUND DEAD: An unidentified man in his 20’s was recovered dead from the graveyard of Gulistan Colony in Factory Area on Sunday.

Police shifted the body to the city morgue for an autopsy to determine the cause of his death and identify the deceased.
