ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Tuesday withdrew the notification of the victory of Nawabzada Shahzain Bugti in the National Assembly’s constituency NA-259 in the 2018 general elections and ordered re-polling on 29 polling stations in the constituency on July 15.

The ECP has taken the step in line with the June 28 judgement of an election tribunal in Balochistan on petition filed by Mir Tariq Mehmood Khetran against the returning officer and others in August last year soon after the general elections.
