LAHORE: Three people were injured in two fire incidents in the city on Sunday.

A fire erupted at an illegal oil agency during refilling at China Scheme. It engulfed the adjacent shop and the owner suffered burns while trying to extinguish it on his own. Rescue fire-fighters reached the spot and put out the fire.

In another incident, two persons were injured when a fire erupted in an LPG shop in Mozang. Rescue teams controlled the blaze and shifted the injured to hospital.

Rescue personnel said the fire incidents were increasing day by day especially at gas refilling shops due to high temperatures. They said the district administration should take measures to close these illegal gas refilling shops in residential colonies.
