KARACHI: Pakistan Olympic Association (POA) President General ® Arif Hasan has said that hosting two back to back international softball events in the country this year will prove beneficial for both players and coaches and will be a big boost for the uplift of the game.

“It will be for the first time that the game of softball in the country will see two back to back international events hosted in the country,” said Arif during the celebrations of World Softball Day, organized by Softball Federation of Pakistan (SFP) here at a local hotel on June 13.

Arif Hasan also praised World Softball and Baseball Confederation (WSBC) General Secretary Dato Low Beng Choo, who will be visiting Pakistan this year. “Her visit will hopefully pave the way for foreign teams’ visit to Pakistan.”
