KARACHI, July 20: Naeemullah slammed an unbeaten 88 and Issam Iqbal grabbed five for 37 to put Zone-II Whites in the quarterfinals of the KCCA Under-15 Inter-zonal cricket championship with an impressive 82-run victory over Zone-VI Blues at Students Sports ground on Tuesday.

Zone-II Whites topped Group ‘A’ with three straight victories. Joining them in the last-eight stage are Zone-IV Whites, who secured first spot in Group ‘B’ and Zone-I Whites who finished runners-up.

Naeem hit nine boundaries in his knock as Zone-II Whites reached 216 for eight in their 50 overs.

Zone-I Blues were bowled out for 134 in 41 overs in reply.

Meanwhile, Zone-IV Whites defeated Zone-I Whites by five wickets at the KCCA Stadium while Zone-VII Greens beat Zone-III Blues by four wickets at the Asifabad Sports ground.
