LAHORE: The Counter Terrorism Department Punjab intensified crackdown on terrorism financing and arrested six activists of the proscribed Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) in Gujranwala.
A spokesperson for the CTD said on Tuesday the teams arrested Muhammad Afzal, Muhammad Amir, Allah Ditta, Muhammad Iftikhar, Muhammad Ajmal and Muhammad Bilal Makki and recovered from their possession funds and receipts.
He said the suspects were collecting funds to finance activities of the JeM and charge sheets against them had been submitted to the Anti-Terrorism Courts.
