MINGORA, Jan 13: The authorities of the health department in Swat have failed to provide the vaccine required to be administered to the pilgrims.

The people told Dawn that the injections were meant to protect them from various fatal diseases and were generally administered at least 10 days before the departure for Haj.

The intending pilgrims are concerned about the situation and have demanded of the government to take immediate notice of it. They also quoted the authorities of the health department saying that they had not been provided the vaccine by the higher officials.
