The doctors, who conducted a post-mortem examination of the body, said the man appeared to have been shot dead three days ago.

“Multiple bullet wounds were found on the body,” they said.

The victim was identified as Maulvi Ghulam Mustafa, a resident of Killi Sher Ali of Panjpai tehsil. He was prayer leader at a mosque in Dasht town.

The Levies officials quoting local people said that Ghulam Mustafa went missing four days ago.
