KARACHI: Three persons were shot dead and two wounded critically in a clash between two parties on the outskirts of the city over a land dispute, police said.

They added that the two sides attacked each other with arms on Northern Bypass near Indus Town, causing injuries to five persons.

They were shifted to different hospitals. The dead were identified as Mohammad Asif, 37, Shah Agha, 38, and Dolat Khan, 40. The injured were identified as Hakim, 44, and Ibrahim.

Additional Police Surgeon at the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital Saleem Shaikh said that three bodies and one wounded person in critical condition were brought to the hospital.
