QUETTA, July 17: The Accountant General of Balochistan has authorized all treasury officers in the province to revise pay and allowances of all government servants provisionally in accordance with the basic pay scales 2005, with effect from July 1, 2005, introduced by the provincial government.

According to a letter issued to all treasury officers by the AG, the pay-slips will be issued to all gazetted officers in due course.

It said that necessary changes had also been made in the computerized payrolls in Quetta and Pishin districts. The employees of the two districts will get salary under the revised pay scale on August 1, 2005.

The AG Balochistan said that any discrepancy, if noticed, should be brought to his notice for rectification and necessary action.

Treasuries and banks have also been authorized to revise pension according to the increase allowed by the government of Balochistan.
