SWABI: A proclaimed offender was injured in an encounter with police here on Saturday.

Police officials said Nasar Khan, a resident of Ismalia village, was wanted to police in different cases and in previous raids he dodged the police.

Fayyaz Khan, SHO Kalu Khan police station, said when the outlaw saw the police party approaching him, he started firing on them and tried to flee, but the cops returned the fire in which he was injured and arrested.

He said three other POs accompanying the injured outlaw surrendered to the police without resistance. He said they were wanted to police in different cases. Police also recovered two Kalashnikovs, three pistols, two guns, seven chargers and several rounds from the arrested POs.
