The Madrassah is centre of religious education and headquarters of Jamaat-i-Ishaat Al-Tauheed Wa Sunnah (JIATWS). It was founded by religious figure, Maulana Mohammad Tahir, father of Maulana Mohammad Tayyab, and Mohammad Aamir, an ex-army officer.

People eagerly wait for the arrival of Ramazan and starting of Dora-i-Tafseer.

This religious institution is now run by Maulana Tayyab and in Ramazan it becomes hub of religious activities.

Maulana Tayyab, who is also chief of JIATWS, daily conducts the Dora-i-Tafseer, and the people and followers of Jamaat never miss it. The participants said people from across KP and other parts of the country reached Panjpir during Ramazan, and after 27th of the fasting month which marks the completion of Dora-i-Tafseer, left for their homes.
