KHUZDAR: Three government schoolteachers died and six others, including the headmaster, were injured in a road accident on the Quetta-Karachi national highway in the Sangdas area of Kalat on Friday night.

Police said the incident occurred when a car coming from the Totak area in Zehri tehsil collided with a Quetta-bound truck coming from Khuzdar, resulting in the death of three and injuries to six others. “The tragic incident took place due to speeding,” said a senior police officer, Habib Nichrai. The deceased included Ali Ahmed Mengal and Mehboob Mengal.
