KHUZDAR: Four people were killed and another was injured when a car crashed into a roadside shop near the Baghbana area of Khuzdar district on Tuesday evening.

Khuzdar Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Ilyas Kibzai said the four were travelling by car from Quetta to Karachi.

When they came near Baghbana, the driver lost control of the wheel and the car ploughed into the shop.

Two people died and two others succumbed to injuries during treatment in the district hospital of Khuzdar. A man sitting at the shop was injured and taken to the Civil Hospital in Quetta. The deceased were identified as Ghulam Hussain, Mohammad Hassan, Sardar Gul and Mistri Sadiq.

The injured was Misri Khan.

Levies authorities handed over the bodies to heirs after completing medico-legal formalities.
