Learning to socialise as an introvert

This is regarding the cover story “Learning to socialise as an introvert” by Sadia Maqsood (YW, April 6). The article was inspiring and motivating.

Being an introvert I found this article quite helpful and useful as it provides solutions to some of my basic problems. It is indeed true that everyone performs for the sake of marks and this article has shown us the ways to do our best.

We, introverts, feel shy when it comes to communicating. I will also suggest to all introverts that you don’t have to force yourself to act as an extrovert. Accept the truth, live the way you are.

With the growing number of users, social media has now grabbed everyone’s attention. It can be disastrous for you if you are not handling it in a proper way.

Privacy is one of the key threats that we should always keep in mind. Our pictures, videos and other confidential data have to be very safe.

Apart from that, hoax or fake news is another negative aspect of social media. Some news which are not legit get widespread on social media, thereby creating misunderstanding without anyone looking for the real facts.

I remain conscious about these threats and get only benefits from social media. So I would like to suggest to all the readers to be very careful while using social networking sites.

Skylar, a snake or dove

This is regarding the story “Skylar, a snake or dove?” by Zara Ahmed (YW, March 23). The story was full of lessons. If some wrong practice is repeated throughout generations, it needs to be stopped, just as Skylar did in the story.

I relate this story to the condition of the youth of Pakistan, because they are doing the same as their ancestors did. We can be like Skylar and change ourselves t for the better and make our country a peaceful place.

Dealing with difficult people

This is regarding the cover story “Dealing with difficult people” by Yasmin Elahi (YW, 30 March). The writer has described some personality traits of people we usually meet in school, college, university or in our own family.

I appreciate the writer for providing the best possible solutions to act tactfully with the different natures of people. One doesn’t have to fight with them, just behave with patience and tact, and things will come under control.

Bee’s buzz

This is with reference to the story “Bee’s buzz” by Urooj Saad (YW, March 30).

I really enjoyed reading this allegory because the way the writer expressed her ideas about a good leader was wonderful and praise-worthy.

I think this story is a lesson for all those who are in a leading position. This story might help them by improving their leadership skills.

The story “Bees buzz” by Arooj Saad had plenty of lessons for readers to learn, such as those of privileges, responsibilities, unity and its benefits.

Unity creates a peaceful environment and gives no chance to invaders. Unity makes a nation superior to all other nations.

Young World is a complete magazine for kids. I wish this marvellous work from the team of YW never ends.

Think differently, become smarter

This is regarding the article “Think differently, become smarter” by Raazia Syed (YW, April 6).

I learnt the meaning of working smarter through this article and the points which were mentioned here were worth acting upon. There is no doubt that today’s modern technology and world need smart workers.

In addition, we students should change the way we study/work. Although hard work is good, smart work is necessary in this fast going era to achieve success.
