Women shooters for Islamic Games

KARACHI, July 13: A six-member Pakistan shooting squad would take part in the Women Islamic Solidarity Games scheduled to be held at Tehran, Iran from Sept 22 to 28, secretary National Rifle Association of Pakistan (NRAP) Khalid Javed said on Wednesday.

At present, 12 sharpshooters are training at a camp in Pakistan Naval Shooting Range under the supervision of Cmdr Karamat who will also accompany the team to Iran.

Final rounds of trials will be held in the first week of August. Dates will be finalized later.

Khalid said Pakistani shooters would participate in pistol and rifle events.—APP
