Nawaz examined by Sharif Medical City doctors

LAHORE: Doctors examined former prime minister Nawaz Sharif at the Sharif Medical City here on Monday.

“Former PM #NawazSharif had comprehensive assessment & evaluation by leading Professors of Nephrology, Urology, Cardiology & Medicine to further optimise management, delineate definitive treatment & stratify risk to health & life. Multiple pathologies warrant aggressive treatment,” Mr Sharif’s personal physician Dr Adnan Khan tweeted after the examination.

Mr Sharif was released from Kot Lakhpat Jail on March 27 after the Supreme Court granted him bail for six weeks allowing him to seek medical treatment from doctors of his choice in the country.

At the jail, he was undergoing a seven-year imprisonment in the Al-Azizia Mills corruption case.

He should not be granted further bail for medical treatment, he and his team deliberately using delaying tactics in starting his treatment so when they approach bail deadline they will apply for extension in bail. at first place he should not have been granted bail,

Within next two weeks his doctors will declare his health as serious and wound recommended for more procedures as bail cut out date would be approaching. So this drama will become a routine. He is perfectly healthy and should be sent back to jail.

Stop this drama and send him back to jail. This issue about stress in the jail makes me laugh as jails are meant to cause physical and mental stress so people are deterred from doing criminal offenses. It is becoming a joke now.

I will be surprised if anyone is buying these stories anymore. The fact is that the real more powerful sources that are way above the law, and those who created PML-N have done another NRO with PPP and PML-N. His medical condition was well known based on which he was granted a six weeks bail. So why his treatment has not initiated? It is a prelude to asking for an extension, and possibly getting him removed from ECL, so he can go abroad.
