Anti-aircraft shells found near Imran’s Banigala house

ISLAMABAD: Over a dozen live shells of an anti-aircraft gun were found from a plot located about half a kilometre from the Banigala residence of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Police said a senior officer of a foreign mission spotted the ammunition lying in the plot adjacent to the prime minister’s house and informed the police.
A patrolling team reached the spot and cordoned off the area.
Teams from different police wings, including Counter-Terrorism Force, Crime Investigation Agency and Bomb Disposal Squad later seized 18 bullets of the anti-craft gun.
The bullets were 30mm in length and de-coloured and seemed to be old, a police officer said.
He said because of the private residence of the prime minister, search and combing operation were conducted on a regular basis in the area. Recently, the area was scanned and declared cleared.
Circumstances suggested that someone had brought the ammunition to the plot during the last a couple of days and tried to hide them in the garbage there, he added.
The ammunition were shifted to a safe place and would be sent to a lab for forensic analysis, said the officer.

Are there no CCTV cameras installed around the Prime Minister's house? If not, it is a great security lapse that needs to be corrected quickly.

The seriousness of the problem of finding old 30 Bullets near the PM's house can not be wished away. These old bullets if alive could be used for various booby traps through ingenious ways with extremely dangerous results. An immediate high level inquiry is required.

is it a shameful attempt to create grounds for additional protocol in guise of security exactly like the eggs that used to be placed outside Musharraf farm house specifically on the days of court hearings ? Security situation in the country is a thousand times better compared to the situation Musharraf left this country in 2008.

@Anwar Saleem, Dear Mr. Saleem - Hopefully you are an educated person, if that's the case then you should know that economies of any country in real world (not LaLa Land) not built overnight. Previous 30 years of plundering of nations's wealth is what the nation and current administration is facing; loans after loans after loans were taken and not invested actually in the projects that they were borrowed for and you know that right? So with that said current govt is mopping up the doing of the last 30 years, repayments for astronomical loans are due and must be paid so where do you think the money will come fro?
If you don't like IK that's ok and it is your choice and you are entitled to it but please at the least talk common sense for a change.
