SUKKUR: Grand Democratic Alliance leader MPA Sardar Ali Gohar Khan Mahar has sent invitations to all political figures expected to attend a public meeting in Khangarh, Ghotki, where Prime Minister Imran Khan is scheduled to speak on Saturday (March 30).

All arrangements for what is being described as another big show have been completed and the MPA’s residence, Gohar Palace, in Khangarh has been decorated as it will host the high-profile reception.

It is said that Sardar Mahar has sent over 3,000 special invitations to lawmakers, prominent political figures, electables and influential feudal lords of Sindh. They belong to the GDA component parties as well as other like-minded political forces.

The arrangement for the PM’s address has been made at a venue having a capacity of more than 5,000 people. Also, preparations have almost been finalised to accord a warm welcome to the PM and his entourage, who may include Governor Imran Ismail as well as some cabinet ministers and other Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) leaders.
