24 clubs given right to vote

ISLAMABAD, July 8: The Election Commission of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has given the right of vote to 24 clubs for next week’s polls of the Islamabad Cricket Association (ICA).

The commission, headed by Javed Zaman, is to conduct the elections that will take place on July 16.

The clubs given right of vote (name of club presidents in brackets): Alfateh (Shakil Shaikh), Al-Muslim (Irfan Manzur), All Youngstars (Sanaur Rehman), Asif Memorial (Ch. Muhammad Shafiq), Azam (Amir Malik), Classic (Usman Saeed), CRA Community (Pervez Azhar), Diamond (Zubair Shaikh), Essco (Khalid Mahmood), Hasan Memorial (Hassan Asghar), Imran Memorial (Ch. Waseem), King’s Gymkhana (S.A.Khan), Lucky Star (Kh. Abdul Qayyum), Majid Memorial (Muhammad Taj Khan), Mehran (Wasiullah Khan), Millat (Syed Ibrar Ali Rizvi), Muslim (Ajmal Khan Sabir), Model Town Gymkhana (Shakeel Akhtar), National (Shabbir Ahmed), Noorpur (Tariq Awan), Punjab (M. Iqbal Pasha), Rawal Town (Raja Muhammad Sakhi), XI Star (Nasir Iqbal), Young Capital (Abdul Rauf Mirza).
