KARACHI, July 8: Leg spinner Majid Rizvi captured a haul of eight wickets to help Zone-I Whites overwhelm Zone-VII Green by 145-runs in KCCA Inter-zonal under-15 cricket championship at Student ground on Thursday.

Manan Aftab made 94 with eight boundaries to steer Zone-I Whites to 259 for nine wickets in their 50 overs. Leg spinner Shoaib Rabbani bagged five wickets for 98 runs.

Zone-VII Green in reply were spun out for 113 in 39th over. Majid finished with best bowling figures to date in the event finishing with eight wickets for 28 runs.

In the other match at KCCA Stadium, Zone-III Whites outplayed Zone-II Blues by 105 runs.
