LAHORE, July 8: Two goals by Abdul Razzaq helped Ittehad Club reach Lahore District Inter-club hockey championship quarterfinal, beating Amanat Ali Bukhari Club 5-1 at the National Hockey Stadium on Friday.

Razzaq, declared Man-of-the-Match, struck first goal in the fourth minute. The losers restored parity in the 20th minute through Hasan.

After restart, Zahid slammed home the second for winners in the 36th minute before making it 3-1 in the 40th minute, before Razzaq scored his second goal in the 46th minute. Sohail completed the tally a minute later.

In another match, two goals by Irfan guided Pak Union to a 4-1 win against Ravians Club. Irfan scored in the fifth and the 35th minute.

Sardar Ali (10th minute) and Rao Arshad (14th minute) were the other scorers.

Khalid Mahmood netted the consolation goal for the losers in the 40th minute.
