KARACHI, July 7: Spinners Haq Nawaz and Taha Mamsa excelled with the leather to steer their teams’to victory in the Touch me KCCA Inter-zonal U-15 cricket championship on Wednesday.

Leg spinners Haq Nawaz captured five wickets for 19 and Ayazuddin claimed four for 44 to spin Zone-VII Blues to a 61-run win over Zone-VI Blues at Asifabad Ground.

Zone-VII Blues batting first were dismissed for 157 and then bowled out Zone-VI Blues for 96 in 38.3 overs.

At Pak Star Ground, Zone-III Blues recorded an exciting two wicket win against Zone-IV Whites.

Right arm leg-spinner Taha Mamsa claimed five wickets for 23 runs to play a key role in his team’s triumph.

However, Touseef Khan who scored a fighting 38 with four boundaries was named the player of the match.
